Fishing

Beaver Lake provides year-round fishing for anglers who can try their luck at catching large and smallmouth bass, spotted bass, crappie, bream, walleye, white bass, stripers, and channel, flathead, and blue catfish.   Large and smallmouth bass must be 15 inches or longer gto keep.  Spotted bass must be at least 12 inches long to keep.  The combined daily limit is 6.  Smallmouth bass daily limit is 6.  Crappie must be 10 inches with a daily limit of 15.  Striped and hybrid striped bass combined daily limit is 3 and stripers must be at least 20 inches long.  Walleye daily limit is 4 and must be 18 inches long.  There is no limit on white bass.

Free Fishing Weekend is from noon Friday, June 10, 2016 to midnight Sunday, June 12, 2016.  No fishing licenses or trout permits required for this time!
